Foreign Direct Investment

This area of our practice covers an entire range of services from strategic planning to establish a business presence in Albania, including providing advice on day-to-day operations. For a multinational or foreign company planning to operate in Albania, it is important to select the most appropriate form of business, such as wholly-owned subsidiary, joint venture, branch or liaison office. In this regard, we provide our clients advice in making such a selection, prepare all necessary documentation for any government approvals, and ensure that such approvals are obtained in a timely manner.

Once a business entity is established in Albania, our lawyers also provide a full range of post-establishment and related services, including advice on additional capitalization, debenture issuances, public offerings, office or factory site location and leasing, and commercial agreements relating to outsourcing, licensing arrangements, manufacturing, distribution, and franchising.
